Hey,
I'm wondering if someone can help me find parts for my pc. It needs to be $3500 before taxes (CAD). Including Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, speaker system. If you can please use tigerdirect and newegg.ca only please.

Solution

Because it would cost more and be much slower.

1. Two 970s toast the 980 by as much as 62%

2. Spending more does not always result in more performance, gamers would only benefit significantly form Haswell E if using 3 or more GFX cards. In high demand SLI 1080, 4790k beats5930k in 3 outta 5 games with one of the margins being almost twice as fast, the rest were minimal, certainly no where near the 62% above

What's better .... 26.8 or 43.3 ?

Add in the Swiftech H220-X (240-X is outta stock) - $155
http://www.ncix.com/detail/swiftech-h220-x-all-in-one-liquid-cooling-6b-93547.htm

As to the why's ....

-The M7F MoBo is a superb board with built in water block ..... also very perty and pairs well with the 4790k
-2133 16GB is the sweet spot cost wise right now but 2400 is within reach of ya wanna go there.
-SSD Boots ya system faster, SSHD loads ya games faster and automatically switches the games you are playing most frequently to the fastest part of the drive.
-2 x 970 has lower cost per frame than 1 x 980.... lets you play every game > 40 fps including Crysis 3
crysis3_2560_1600.gif

-Beautiful case, works well for both air and water cooling, has built in fan controller, LED RGB Color changing and LED controller
-PSU has great build quality and performance
-Monitor is best gaming monitor ever made.... G-Sync equipped.
-Kept with the white theme for KB and Mouse

As to the cooler ... look at the graph and read the conclusions.

Id move up to the H240-X
http://www.ncix.com/detail/swiftech-h240-x-all-in-one-liquid-cooling-6d-102715.htm

That takes away all the fun :) ..... but anyone who'd charge me $50 I wouldn't trust. That build would take me well 2 -3 hours by time I tucked all the cables away neatly, ran fan auto tuning, did stress tests, tweak BIOS . .... overclocking CPU and GPUs prolly a full day or 2 more (2 hours per test).

Id rather do it myself then I know it's set up the way I want and I know my way around it.

Where's the fun in having someone build it for you?!? I don't care how much you spend on it, build it yourself! The pride and the ability to call it YOURS is well worth the very minor trouble you MAY go through putting it together.

Back on topic, you suggested a good build for him although I think the ROG Swift monitor is a little overkill. Also, you didn't include an aftermarket CPU cooler...at least add the Hyper EVO 212 onto that build. Anything is better than the stock heatsink and fan.

Maybe consider a less exspensive monitor and grab a new I7 5000 series chip with an X99 Mobo and some DDR4 RAM.

Admirable
I will agree with Haswell-E in this build.

Here is an overbudget rig.

He said $3500 so I shot for $3,500

X99 doesn't do enough for you to justify the cost unless you go to 3rd GFX card and budget not there for that. As for the Swift.... there's nothing to compare it with and comes with G-Sync which is H U G E. As you see I included not only the best cooler on the market but also one that allows him to water cool the motherboard.

Adding X99 also reduces the money available for cooling .... $3,500 build w/ a $30 cooler would make no sense.
