So, I installed a new hard drive today. I put Windows 7 on it, got all the things I want on it, but now I have 2 copies on 2 seperate drives. I want to keep the old drive in, so to get rid or the other 7 install do I just reformat the drive? What do I do?

Make sure the PC is booting to the new HDD by temporarily disconnecting the old drive and restarting the PC. Once you are happy with the new drive setup then go ahead and reattach the cabling to your "old" drive and format away. As long as there is nothing on the drive you want to keep (data files, videos etc)

My computer gives me the option to boot off one of the drives when I turn it on, both of which just say "Windows 7". Lucky, the top one is the new drive.
