Hello, all!

I was having an issue with my GPU a week ago. The fans spun and it was obviously getting power to it, but it wouldn't even show the boot screen. I plugged in a VGA into the built-in graphics and that works perfectly fine.

I was told that the GPU was bad, so I went to buy a new one. I installed that, but no change. The fans spin but PC doesn't detect it. Tried the drivers for the card but I get a message saying that there is no device compatible with the drivers I'm trying to install.

I continued to look and found that someone had the same issue and it went away once they replaced their PSU. I did this as well, but no change. Fans still spin (old AND new GPU), but still not detected.

I've noticed that when I turn my computer on, the fans will light up and everything is running, but the start-up screen doesn't show up for about 30 seconds. After that, the computer beeps and the screen pops up.

Any and all comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The first thing I'd tell you to do before spending anymore money is check your front panel connectors.

Make sure that they are all properly connected and are in the right spot. PWR LED, PWR SWITCH, and etc.

I've had this problem when I first made my computer, and turns out, it was just the front panel connectors.

I downloaded the manual for my motherboard before posting here and made sure everything was in the proper place. The thing is that this started happening even before I took anything apart. Right when I turned my PC on and realized that I was having this problem, I had to wait for the beep to know that it was starting up. Could my motherboard be bad?

Full specs?

Some OEM systems don't have the BIOS to accommodate new cards

I just bought a GeForce GTX 750 to test if it was my old GPU. Not sure about the UEFI BIOS though.

Unfortunately, I don't have that option. It's honestly the only thing I can think of that I haven't already tried. I'm going to go and get a motherboard tomorrow to replace this one. It's the only thing that I haven't already replaced... :p

Thanks :)

I wish that I could say yes to this. XD

Since I diagnosed everything in the PC, my last option is to try a new MOBO. I'll return my GPU and get the MOBO. If that doesn't work, I'll just take everything back x_x
Thank God for return policies!!
