Good evening, since I bought my prebuilt computer (bug me all you want) there has been a concering buzzing sound coming from inside my computer, I really can't tell where it's comong from, but it seems like when I put my finger on top of the gpu with a bit of pressure, it seems to stop. I can assure you this is not coil whine because it sounds nowhere close it. please help me find a solution to this or figure out what part is making the sound? Thanks in advance.

More about : annoying buzzing noise coming gpu possibly cpu

What are your PC's specs? Do you know what kind of GPU it is and what type of cooler is on it? It could be the GPU cooler fan shroud or something near it is loose.

Is the GPU a reference model (red and black with one fan on the rear) or non-reference model made by a vendor such as Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, etc. (usually has 2 or 3 large fans)?

nothing close to that, just looks like a crappy boring one lol. Image for reference http://postimg.org/image/4ea3plg8f/

It is probably the black plastic shroud around the fan making the noise. You can check it and make sure that it isn't too close to something or that the screws or pins that are holding it in place aren't loose. Also, I noticed that there was black tubing in your case. Is that a CPU liquid cooler? I just installed a Corsair H60 on my CPU yesterday and I noticed that there was a fairly audible buzzing noise. At first, I thought it was a fan or the case itself. But, I looked it up online and found out that these closed loop liquid coolers make a buzzing noise sometimes if the voltage to the pump is too high. If you do have a CLC and the pump is plugged into a motherboard header, check if it is a 3-pin or 4-pin header. The easiest way to find out if the pump is making the noise is to unplug it then turn the PC on for a few seconds. If the noise is gone then it is the pump. If it is, you can do a few things like rig the pump to a 7v or 5v source using a free molex plug, use a fan speed controller, put a resistor on the pump's wire (which will probably void the warranty) or try it in a 4-pin header.

Thank you for you feedback, I agree on the plastic part and I will furthermore investigate it, as for the tubing, no it is just the wire covers for my corsair power supply, I appreciate your willingness to help though. Tomorrow I will look into the graphics card more.
Once again thanks :D  I'll get back to you if it's fixed or not.
