Hey guys i recently got a new razer blade (2014) and i was very happy with it until i started playing minecraft.Whenever i play minecraft without razer game booster my fps hangs around 30 fps.Even when i turn my render distance down to the lowest,my fps does not change at all!(I am using my nvidia gtx 870m to play minecraft and not the intel card)However, when i boost my laptop using razer game booster my fps remains at around 90 to 130.

PS.other games run like butter.

Did you turn in v-sync if so turn it off and what did you limit your fps to?

What CPU does your computer have?
Minecraft does not use the graphics card to render. It uses the RAM and CPU.

Like all Java/OpenGL games/software.

honestly i think it has something to do with backgroung processes.Razer game booster stops unessecary background processes and this is prob why my fps goes so high.

ps.if you guys know what is causing this prob please tell me asap9i dont want to keep on boosting my laptop and draining batt

If you are playng a game on battery, you will have slower performance. It's like saying when you are driving 150 mph your use up more gas, so how can I drive 150 mph and get the same miliage I do at 50? Normally on battery all laptops turn down the CPU speed and video card to save on battery live unless you manually set it to max performance.

you have a point but the difference is insignificant.I have solved it by installing optifine in Minecraft.I appreciate help from you guys!

Ah, optifine is a good way to go. It uses DirectX too instead of the crappy OpenGL.
Just a question. Have you allocated more RAM to Minecraft?
