So i bought a sorta starting gaming PC last year and i replaced the graphics card and PSU which pretty much fixed all the lag on most games but when it comes to more processor intensive games such as Dayz SA or Dayz the mod, i get alot of lag no matter what settings which is really annoying. So i was wondering if anyone knew the problem, thanks!

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz
GPU: Radeon 7790 2GB

The 7790 is a mide tier GPU - http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-HD-7790-vs-GeForce-GTX-7...

The FX6300 is mid tier as well. It'd only be holding you back if it was overheating.

Im not a computer expert so i don't exactly know what im talking about but should I just upgrade them both? If so, to what?... Im just looking for something that can run Dayz Standalone like something that could maybe get me 30+ on medium or so graphics because running around with 14 frames when i do have free time isnt acceptable.

Depends on the motherboard you have as to whether you can put a FX 8 core safely on it.

There's plenty to choose from for a graphics card though. But it's gotta fit in your case and your power supply needs to be able to run it reliably.

Post your complete and detailed build.

Got an upgrade budget in mind?

Mobo: MSI 760GM-P34
CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon 7790 2GB OC Edition http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspxItem=N82E1681...
PSU: CS650M 650W ATX12V v2.4
Case: Raidmax Viper Gaming Case

And i could probably put about 600 into it but if that's not enough I could throw in a few extra hundred np.
