slow writing speed of pendrive

I have brought a pendrive - Sand disk ultra 2.0 OTG 16 gb.
while copy and paste in pendrive its writing speed is 1 mb/second and
while in other pc i got writing speed upto 8mb /second

I have computer with configuration

mother board=Intel original D945GCNL
Processor = Intel Core 2 duo
Ram=2.5 GB
and computer 7 years OLD

pls give me solution.

There are three USB standards: USB 1.1, USB 2.0, and USB 3.0

Older computers only have USB 1.1 ports which are the slowest.

Newer computers have USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports which are faster (USB 3.0 ports have a blue insert).

So what i'm saying is that different computers have different USB transfer speeds, depending on the USB standard they adhere to.
