2.1 speaker vs stereo headset on Maximus Ranger, which is the best?

Depends on the sound quality of speakers or the stereo headset, because the MB has the very good audio. If you don't want the speaker to bother other people, you are better to get the headset. I has a Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset, it is not the best but for me it is good enough. Or you even get the Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound headset, it will be better than the 2.1 speaker. For example, Logitech G35 USB 2.0 Connector Surround Sound Headset.

Thanks for the reply. There are features like sonic sound stage, etc on the ranger which only works on headsets. Does it mean to make full use of the sound feature of this motherboard it is best to use headset rather than 2.1 speakers? Not looking into which brands just headset vs speakers to maximize the feature of this motherboard
