hi guys
my pc specs are
gtx 660,
evga 850w 80+ gold psu
intel core i7 4970k
g skill 16gb 2400mhz memory
ssd and hdd, 250gb and 1tb

since i added my gtx 660 from my old pc into my new build i have had nothing but trouble
i get errors in event viewer saying "nv

"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
"Windows Store failed to recreate trusted store. Result code 0x80070490"
"The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
"Access to drivers on Windows Update was blocked by policy"
and i used to get others.

basically if i play assetto corsa for about 5-10 minutes sometimes 20 i start to hear weird buzzing sounds from my monitor and then if i catch it in time, i can bring up task manager and end it! if not it basically freezes my whole pc and im forced to restart it.

I HAVe tried EVERY single way of fixing this:
nvida 3d management settings fix
memory clock etc using msi burner fix
internet explorer fix
tdrdelay and level fix
uninstalling my drivers about 9 times, nothing has changed ive uninstalled completely and reinstalled all the older versions! it hasnt worked
ive also tried reinstalling Windows 8.1 < it didint work!
nothing is working!
ive tried memtest with RAM, nothing has popped up
ive scanned hdd nothing has popped up

people have said what about my psu? how do i know if thats faulty? i hope its not! idk what to do

im scared to buy another graphics card (gtx 970) incase the same happens.

i dont know what to do!

can someone please help me?

looks to be two issue one could be bad power...the power supply 12v leg not holding under load or a bad memory chip on your gpu. before you buy a new gpu check to see if your older gpu under warranty if it is rma first then if the error still there try another power supply.

register with evga then fill out rma papwer work for the video card first if it from them. they get back withing a few days with an rma number and then you send it in to them.

right okay so its nothing to do with amazon
and because i bought it in 2013 from amazon, have i still got warranty for the actual evga product then?
and im guessing you mean "Post the gpu to them", if i can and when they receive it then what?
