Maximus iv gene3 small atx board. PLEASE HELP.

I'm getting CPU initialisation error. I have no idea what's going on. I updated the bios a while back and I'm getting this for some reason. I have an exam on Monday and need this up and running ASAP !!! , a little CPU thermal paste got on the pins when I cleaned it, but I'm positive I got all of it off. Should I take it out and clean it again ? My new board is pardon my French "fucked" it's not working right so I'm sending it back and I went back to using my old board. Is it because the drivers are on my ssd and won't pick up my old mobo ? But I can't even get into my bios to check anything, or do a fresh install.

on the new mb the bios may be lower then the old mb..use the usb flashback port and put the newest bios file on a usb stick and run the usb flashback updater and then see if the new mb works.
