So my ISP is sky and the bandwidth I am getting from them is just 11 MB. In my house I have 3 laptops a desktop and 5 phones all on the same router. But one thing about it is that it's extremely slow. I looked on amazon and found this: Asus RT-N66U - 900Mbps Dual Band Wireless N Router.

Please can you tell what benefits I will get from this N Router if I buy it.

1. Will it increase my current bandwidth? (Faster Internet Connection)

2. Will it increase the area coverage in my home?

3. Will I be able to replace it with the router I already have?

You would have to post your current router to be sure. But some general comments.

1. likely not since you are always limited by the slowest connection. Still lets say they offer 100m and 10m and you buy 10m they will likely not allow you to run over 10m even if the technology allowed it. Likely the wires to your house are limiting you to 11m so that is the limit.

2. Maybe some of the provided routers have poor radios but coverage is not the same things as speed.

3. I am going to guess not. 11m is a common dsl bandwidth speed. You need some form of modem and if it is built into the router then you need a router with a modem. The router you linked has a ethernet wan port so you need a seperate modem
