Gpu upgrade suggestioN!

Hello friends , I am using sapphire vapor-x r9 270x ! I dont why i am feeling like this but i think i should have bought the r9 270 not the x version! is there really any difference ? I feel also laggy sometimes ! though i am using phenom 2 x4 955 processor but soon i will upgrade to i5 4590 ! should i swutch to nvidia for smoothly gameplay ? Gtx 970 is out there but is is a bit expensive . I will game ay 1080p

no you cpu is the bottleneck...it causing the gpu to perform under its capacity which causes lag....i think a r9 270x is good for 1080p gaming...... you seriously need to upgrade your cpu....it is not necessary to go for nvidia unless you want cool and quiet operation, however at the range of r9 270x nvidia cannot comeptete AMD takes it away..

My Cpu usage is 80-90% ! but many peoples are saying the processor is oky! you dont need to worry! what do you think ?

your cpu is not as new and advance as your gpu right? so they might not perform together and cause lag..afterall your cpu is strugling to cope up with the gpu( 90-80%) usage...you see for yourself

^What they said. Go for a solid i5 or AMD and your lag will clear right up. They i5 4690k and AMD FX 8350 are good options.

I would say never go with AMD unless you have an EXTREMELY low budget as they pale when compared to their Intel counterparts.

In terms of price performance, AMD usually takes it. But if like me you don't like to compramise, intel is the way to go
