ASUS Z87-PRO -- How to reset/downgrade BIOS?

System was working perfectly but I noticed my CPU was always running 60-65C (Intel says max temp is 67C). I was a bit worried and decided I should update my BIOS firmware! I was running version 1602 of the BIOS and the latest from ASUS is 2103 as seen here (i7 4770K 3.5 Ghz).

I downloaded the zip file, extracted and ran the .exe, navigated to the included Z87-PRO-ASUS-2103.CAP file and selected it. Upgraded fine, rebooted and as soon as explorer.exe loaded, the system resets. It then restarts with the same behavior over and over. As soon as I'm in the OS, it restarts.

How do I revert back to the old BIOS? Or is there a way to "flash" it back to some factory default? I'm not too familiar with BIOS updates but I'm already regretting the decision.

I found these instructions (page 135) to reset but I wanted to make sure I'm going about it correctly before proceeding or should I follow this video? I'm not sure if I have the original cd that came with the motherboard, so should I just download the older version 1602 again and install that? Is it worth trying to reinstall the latest firmware first? I already messed it up by updating so I'm nervous to do anything.

System: Windows 7-64, i7 4770K, 16GB 1333 DDR3 RAM. No problems before upgrading firmware.

Solution
-reseting bios should be plainly stated in your boards manual

you just flash the bios to change it weather it flashing up or back down

sounds more like that temp thing is due to a goofed cpu cooler install or fan speed not set right or bad in some way

I reflashed with the latest firmware (again) and this time it took. Now when I login it doesn't automatically reboot. The temperature is still 55-65C idle but I have a Corsair Hydro Series H60 on the way, so hopefully that'll take care of that. Thanks for the input!
