Recently my motherboard broke as the sata 3g ports on the mobo broke as there very weak.
I am now on the hunt for a new motherboard as my system is now unable to start at all.
I would like the best motherboard someone could find as long as its not extremely over priced.

My Gaming Rig;
CPU: AMD fx4100
GPU: MSI GTX770 4GB Twin Frozr
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2X8)
PSU: 650W

Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P, excellent MoBo, will be great power phases and VRM wise if you upgrade to FX 6 or 8 in the future (which you should as the GPU is getting bottlenecked by CPU).

The 4440 will be a perfect match for your GTX 770.AND the 4440 is stronger than the FX-8320. ;)

I would suggest this board.

It's the only known AM3+ motherboard with a PCIe 3.0 slot. You'll have to find where to buy it, though.

Why PCIe 3.0? 2.0 is perfectly fine for any card.

Why not the GA-970A-UD3P?
It's $25 cheaper and it has a 8+2 power phase desing.

DUAL cards and can upgrade to a FX 8320 or 8350.

Only 970 board that can SLI and Crossfire.

"This isn't to say that PCI-E 3.0 is not faster than PCI-E 2.0, or that x16 is the same as x8, but rather that current video cards and games are simply not able to utilize the additional bandwidth they provide."

Look to the future!

Thankyou for all your options and opinions but it would look more appealing if I could have space to upgrade and obtain DUAL GPU and More RAM etc.. Also what did someone mean when they said that my GPU was bottlenecked by the CPU? Also opinions on the Corsair AX1200i psu

AX1200i psu ...Great PSU but overkill and over priced.

Your weak CPU will be holding back your graphics card.

It's a great quality PSU,but it's way way way too overkill for your system.
An 850W PSU will be enough for 2xGTX 770.
You will want a strong CPU for that setup.

GTX 970 Gaming, great suggestion there. And please upgrade CPU first, the current one is holding back even single 770, let alone SLI setup in future. And AXi 1200W is extremely high quality PSU, but way too much for the system, a 850W G2 will suffice.
