Which cpu is better for gaming... My Mother board is, Asus H97M-E Motherboard (H97, DDR3, S-ATA 600, Micro ATX, 1x PCI Express 3.0 x16, HDMI, USB 3.0, Socket 1150) ..............Here is the 2 CPUS,, Intel i5 4460 Quad Core CPU (3.20GHz, 6MB Cache, 84W, Graphics, Turbo Boost Technology, Socket 1150) ......OR..... Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core Retail CPU (Socket 1150, 3.40GHz, 6MB, Haswell, 84W, Intel Graphics, BX80646I74770, 4th Generation Intel Core, Turbo Boost Technology 2.0)....What is better for gaming? Im planning on playing day z alot

If you are not overclocking, there will be no difference. Get the 4460 as it is cheaper and newer.

The GPU is what matters here.

Well the i5 4690K can be bought for the same price as the 4670K...at least in most countries. And both are better than the 4460. The "K" at the end means that they have unlocked multipliers, so they are very easy to overclock. The 4690K is well known for being good for overclocking, and is generally considered as the best gaming CPU on the market at the moment.

The 4460 runs about $190 here in the US, while the 4670k and the 4690K are both a few dollars short of $220. If you can afford the 4690k, that would be my suggestion.

It is fine for playing and recording at high settings, but not ultra in most games.

Get the 4460 and use the extra money to get a better GPU like an r9 280.

Anything with a non-reference cooler. Both the MSI and the sapphire (cards 2 and 3 on that list) would be great choices.
