Overclocking and Gaming is it worth it

You do not want the processor to run over 75C at full load for long. This could cause damage if it is running there for long periods of time. The best advice I can give you for overclocking is to read the overclocking guide here on Tom's.

I have an intel i5 CPU (dont remember the exact one but i will be able to add that in later on when i get home), a corsair h80i liquid cpu cooler a evga 750 g2 power supply a gigabyte z97x-ud5h motherboard and 16gigs of ram

I do have one i know that it is an i5 something k i just dont rmember what one it was but ik its a good processor.

Alright im new to the whole overclocking thing. I know the basics of it but im not 100% sure how i would do it though would you be able to help me out through that or give me some advice? and what should my temps be at now do u think?

Alright thanks right now my cpu at hasnt reached over like 55C
