Iam trying to take internet connection from my cousins house which is 165m far from my house.
they are using 1mbps connection.
I completed the cable works and when I connected to my dlink N300 wireless router the speed is too slow (about 0.10mbps).
But if directly connected to my laptop it is showing 1mbps speed.

!!sorry for the bad english!!

Max rating for Cat6 is 100m, you should be glad it works at all. You would need a repeater somewhere in the middle, or switch to optical (which is probably a little expensive)

Might try switching to Cat6e which will offer extra shielding, but that is no guarantee. They aren't designed for long distance runs.

I am surprised it works at all.

What you can do is buy devices that use the wire as your own private DSL connection. Tends to be very expensive. This link shows the type of device....This is just used for a example I know nothing about these particular devices or the company selling them.
