Iam trying to take internet connection from my cousins house which is 165m far from my house.
they are using 1mbps connection.
I completed the cable works and when I connected to my dlink N300 wireless router the speed is too slow (about 0.10mbps).
But if directly connected to my laptop it is showing 1mbps speed.

!!sorry for the bad english!!

Max rating for Cat6 is 100m, you should be glad it works at all. You would need a repeater somewhere in the middle, or switch to optical (which is probably a little expensive)

Might try switching to Cat6e which will offer extra shielding, but that is no guarantee. They aren't designed for long distance runs.

currently its 1mbps..
we will increase it to 4mbps only if our plan works

So your friend has a 1Mbps internet subscription. You connected your laptop to his router over 165m of CAT6 cable, and still got 1Mbps out of it.

I don't see the problem here...

If want it to go to your router and then have your laptop connect over wifi, it is practically impossible to get the full 1Mbps.

You are trying to use an Ethernet cable beyond its maximum range. Not much we can do about physics. If your laptop does better then the router, replace the router. Or make sure the laptop is actually attaining that speed and not just rounding the value up to the nearest standard.

You need to buy a repeater and put it in the middle or use a connection type that supports that range.
Line of sight WiFi antennae, line of sight optical (aka laser), optical line, a pair of even faster NICs and the cable to match might get you something.
