I was thinking of buying a game on G2A for steam however,(going to sound stupid) I didn't know whether the Digital keys will work on steam, or if I should buy the steam gifts?
Any help I am thankful for

I'd feel safer buying from cjs-cdkeys.com

Bought from them many times before. Has an open review system and the site owner makes himself known, unlike G2A

Hi, G2A will state whether or not they're steam compatible. You could buy straight steam gifts, However an unknown fact is that you can typically get significantly better pricing than G2A, Greenmangaming, Etc, by going through Russian/Ukrainian traders. The Russian/Ukrainian storefront are about 40 - 60% cheaper than the US/EU stores and this also applies to games on sale.

You can search for Russian traders, and Ukrainian traders through websites like:

steamtrades.com

hey m8 if ur buying off g2a id go for the g2a shield which protects you from scammers if u get a fake code u can contact support and go for digital code i dont really trust the gift one sorry for the almost 2 year late reply

When i was searching the net for cheap steam games, i thougt the same. Can this be legal because of the cheap price. But now 8 months and about 20 games later i think g2a is a good site to buy my keys. I use the g2a shield which cost about 1 Dollar/month but when i buy a game worth 30-50 Dollars i think it okay to have this more safety. However, nothing bad happened today except one time, i got a used key from a marketplace seller. Using the shield, i was in a conversation and i got a new working one. So Maybe it es better to buy from g2a directly instead of using the market, but the price surely is better. i think g2a is a useful site but everybody has to find it out for themselve.

G2A.com is fine. I bought Mass Effect Trilogy and Fallout 4 with g2ashield. Mass Effect was no problem and steam wouldn't except Fallout 4. Talk to G2A and after about 15 minutes I was adding F4SE and mods playing Fallout 4. Mass Effect Trilogy I used on Origin. btw.
