Which Mac mini is best for development?

I planned to move on to Mac mini for ios and android development. But I am confused with the configurations
2012s Mac mini Quad core i7 with 4 gb ram or the latest Mac mini with dual core i5 2.6GHz model with 8gb ram. Please help me. How will be the performance vary

Get the latest one with 8GB of RAM. that is far more important than the little performance boost between an older 4-core hyperhtreading i7 and the newer 4-core non-hyperthreaded i5 processor with a lot of clock speed improvement since 2012.
