Hey guys,

After telling my brothers about me building my own pc, one of them said that they have a Dell 560 that is not used at all. But since I'm planning on building a gaming PC and I already have a GPU, Sapphire Dual-x R9 280x to build around it, I was wondering if the processor can handle it or am I better off building a new PC?

In addition, the PSU will obviously be upgraded from the stock that comes with it.

actually if your building a gaming PC then the motherboard and processor needs to be replace...the motherboard has a max memory of 8GB and the processor is only dual core. see here http://www.cnet.com/products/dell-inspiron-560-p-e6700-...

So I'm better off building a pc correct? But can I use parts from that dell 560? ie, dvd/cd writer and the sound card?
