Last week I noticed that sometimes when I powered off my computer and then tried to turn it back on everything would work except the monitor, keyboard, and mouse unless I powered it off and on 4 times. Then it would work flawlessly. The monitor issue seemed to start when I put two new gtx 980s into my sabertooth x79 mobo. After updating the bios it seemed to be fixed for a week untill it started making me power it on multiple times again to display. This seemed to start happening again when I put in new ram. Normally I would say that its a failing power supply, however its fairly new and can give out 850watts which is more than enough and I have played many demanding games in 4K ultra for over an hour with no issues. Last week bf4 would randomly restart my computer, but it doesn't seem to be doing it anymore after changing my ram and updating windows/.net framework. Now it seems every time I completely shut down my computer I have to turn it on and off at least twice or my monitor won't recieve video and my keyboard won't light up. My windows, bios, and drivers are all up to date and I don't know what could be causing these issues.
I have windows 8.1 64bit, asus sabertooth x79, I7 4930k, 2x8GB ddr3 running at 2400MHz with XMP, two gtx 980s in SLI, an evga 80plus gold 850watt psu, Logitech keyboard and mouse, and a samsung 60Hz 4K monitor.
