Picked up another 2GB stick of DDR2 a couple weeks ago (yes, my machine is ancient). Anway all was fine for a week then got a couple of freezes and BSODs. Ran memtest for 10 hours with the following results. Is the lowest/highest error address supposed to give indication as to which stick is bad? The newest stick is in the last slot (DDRII4) so I can't really be sure. Also, can an overclock cause Memtest errors? I've heard mixed results.

My plan tonight is to pull the new stick and run memtest again.

Yes, an overclock can affect memory as can a Vdimm that is too low. Easiest way to find the bad stick is to run memtest on each stick alone, any errors are unacceptable.

Be sure that all of your memory timings and Vdimm are what they should be, and be sure that you settings are acceptable for the *slowest* stick that you have.
