Hey, I could use some help overclocking my AMD FX-8320

My temps: 55 Celcius @3.8 GHZ (Mobo default overclock)

I am using a Hyper 212 EVO, and an Asus Sabertooth 990 FX motherboard. My PSU is 750 W.

How would I overclock manually? How far should I go?

I do not really have a good idea of how to overclock, other than the fact that I need to upscale my CPU multiplier ratio.

Thanks to all who help out

Solution
you can easily push it at 4ghz with this cpu cooler... increase the multiplier ratio and best tip for tha cpu is that slightly decrease NB frequency and raise vcore by 0.0025+ and so on ...

If I wanted to overclock it any higher, would I have to adjust voltage?

I have heard that the highest load temp that my 8320 should be under is 60-70 C. Does that sound right for a load temp? Now, whenever I am going to push my PC, I turn up my fans, and stay at about 55 C when under full load. When not pushing it, for instance, right now, I turn down my fans to make my PC quieter. As a result, I idle at around 25-30 C.

Do these temps look alright?

Every cpu is slightly different so the voltage required differs. Always want to have as low of voltage as possible while keeping stable.
Increasing your fsb will allow you to have lower voltage at higher clocks. Increasing the fsb will increase everything else along with it.
So lets say you have 1866mhz ram you can set your ram clock to 1600mhz and increase your fsb to 233 and your ram will increase to its appropriate clock speed. Then you can drop your cpu-nb and ht-link to near the default values.
Check out the AMD overclocking club.
62c is the safe daily operating temp.
