I have a new PC with new componentes in which I inserted the disk of an old PC

As expected I could not boot it. Windows 7 asks if I want to go through repair and afer a while it gives a message of StartupRepairOffilne failure.

I was just in hope that windows 7 could boot and install the drives of the new componnetes. Any way of doing that ? Any softwrae that could do it ?

I cannot go to the old PC and make an image because the motherboard is dead.

Yes, that is often what happens. There is no magic fix, other than reinstall.
And even if you could make an 'image' from the old PC, you'd end up with exactly the same issue.

Reinstall the OS and applications.

Yes.
That's what backups are for.

EDIT: Let me rephrase that. You may end up with a folder called Windows.old, containing most/all of the previous install. But I wouldn't count on it.

Yeo, I do have backups but I was trying to avoid reintall everything, speacially some SQL database. It's quite time consuming. Thanks for the answers.
