Hi,
So last night my dad signed up for a site that can track websites that you have been on from the wifi router. Can deleting search history or going on incognito help be prevented from being seen?

If he is using the router or some external site to collect the data it does not matter if the PC keeps a history or not the other collection device will.

You will have to go elsewhere if you want to discuss how you can actually prevent him from collecting the data since outright telling you how to bypass security it not allowed on this site.

I don't know. If I find out, I will notify you. Is it answerable without the website?

It is a netgear blackhawk wifi router. Can you tell me how to delete history from there?

i think it is not possible through website using router unless he's ISP... just think about it.. how can a router store your internet history... stay calm and use incognito mode

Lets just say I can very well log the sites you go to with a external system but I won't tell you because then your next questions is how to bypass it which I am not allowed to answer. Just be assured it can be done fairly simply from almost any router you just have to be willing to pay for the service. There are only a small handful of router you can't run this on.

But if you want 1 example I will give you one that works but is unlikely. All you do is load third party firmware like dd-wrt on the router and has a feature called netflow. This will log all session and even how much traffic each session took. If I were to log this to a external server and I prevent you from getting access to the router what do you think you can do. If you factory reset the device it will be very obvious.

Alright so I have been reading, and I think what most likely happened is that my dad signed in and turned logs on. I don't think there is anything that I can do, so thanks for all the help. Sorry for any confusion, I didn't know what he did either at first.
