Hey guys, so I just recently purchased a Asus Strix 970. I was one of the lucky few to actually get one off Newegg before it was gone. I planned on getting a second in a few weeks. Unfortunately it doesnt look like they will be available until maybe December. Newegg doesnt even list it right now for auto notify.
What do you guys think would be the best pairing with this card? I was thinking about the G1. What do you guys think?

Personally, if you have a side window in your case, I'd wait for re-stock on STRIX. If you don't care about looks, sure a G1 will do ....

I should have ordered two but I was worried about the order actually being processed so I just went with 1. Unfortunately right as it went through they were out of stock.

Technically, you can run two different brands of GPU in SLI, because the individual vendors don't really change the hardware that affects that. Although I would suggest just waiting for the restock, mainly for aesthetic reasons, but also so u can overclock them with less stress, and not need 2 different types of software for each card.
