Does a motherboard affect gpu performance?

Solution

You will need a 500 watt good power supply. Not a cheap one. You need toget a measuring tape and or ruler an see how much room you have. You will need at least 9.5 inches plus room to install the card. ! - 1 1/2 inches. If you do not have a reference model that blows the air out the back of the case. You need a case with very good air flow. Those of us who build Gaming Computers would most likely not do what your are...

That is your Acer computer model #. The mobo # is on the mobo. It might be visible, might not. What is more important is how old is your computer? Are you using a dedicated GPU now. Also what processor are you using?
