So I've noticed that something in my PC is buzzing and I'm assuming it's my graphics card. It could be normal, but when I play games, mostly graphically demanding, I hear a buzz. I think it's my gpu because in Kerbal Space Program looking at the ground causes the buzz to be louder and then when looking at the sky, there is no buzz at all. Again this could be perfectly normal, but I just want to be sure. There doesn't seem to be any wires touching the fan, so that's ok.

This is my first gaming pc, so I don't know if this buzzing is normal with graphics cards?

Is it a whine ... aka coil whine ?

Buzzing could be electronic or vibration. Put a finger on each id ya fans at center (NOT blades) to stop and see if noise stops. Place hand on PSU and other places to feel or stop vibration

I think that's what it is, coil whine. I put my hand in the middle of every fan and the sound continues. The noise is like what you hear from fluorescent lights sometimes or like a bug zapper. Is there a way to reduce coil whine or is it just suppose to be like that?

You have to press and stop the fan to stop the noise if its making any :)

Do you get the noise if using the integrated GFX ?

Alright, so I put my finger on the fan to make it stop, and the buzzing still continued. I don't remember hearing any buzzing when I was just using the integrated graphics, it was when I got my graphics card and started playing games that I heard buzzing. It doesn't make any buzzing when I'm not playing games.

All of the cards are exhibiting some coil whine ... originally, we were just hearing about the MSI cards cause that's the one everyone was buying, bit since I have seen Gigabyte, Asus and EVGA posts. Most cases of coil whine I have solved by swapping PSUs. Something in the power being fed makes the coil vibrate and produces the whine .... it can also occur regardless of PSU but that's been the most common.
