Hi , got few problems with my pc . Stopped working last night while I was playing games and haven't start for about 30 min . Started again and temperature on cpu was going up to 90 even higher and stopped again after 30 min . Now the computer run but no display, sometimes rebooting repeatedly . I manage to restart bios by taking the battery out and put it back after few minutes , pc start with 2 options 1. To start bios and 2. To start normaly but as soon I try to start windows is doing the same and display goes again after restart . Could be cpu , psu or mobo ?

My pc spec are i5 2500k , asrock extreme4. Z77 , 8 bg ram , gtx 970 as a new upgrade. Psu is an 600w cit .

If your CPU temp is that high, I would start by replacing the thermal paste. How old is the PC?

If it turns on but does not display video, I would take out your video card and run the onboard video (if applicable) to rule out the video card as the problem.

I changed the old cooler with a brand new 212 evo , thermal paste changed also . I take the graphic card out when i reset bios and worked for few minutes in bios , will give me options to repair windows or to start normally . Changed rams and tried other hdd also . Could be the cpu fried as i had overcloked to 4.0 in the last few days ? Tomorrow i will try other psu to see if is any problem from it , if not it have to be mobo or psu . Mobo i have it for half a year and the rest of the pc is about 2 years old .

Is not the psu , started for a while today got into windows and died again after 15 min . I think is the mobo overheated or something faulty . Pcu was on 30 when tge pc was running.
