windows 8 pro FPP question

Hi everyone, I bought a windows 8 pro FPP before used on my old pc with win7starter.
now I've changed new pc with win7home why I can't use my windows 8 pro FPP upgrade?
The old pc already reinstalled back to win7starter, and it says the serial key already used in other computer. Isn't the FPP version can install to any new pc? or it just like OEM can only used once in a selected pc?

All Windows 8 versions are locked to a single PC unless they are corporate licenses. You can change, for instance, the motherboard and then reactivate by phone or sometimes automatically but if it's a completely different computer you cannot reuse the license. You can contact MS to verify this but in most cases this holds true.
