I was interested in upgrading the amount (not quality) of RAM on my 435mt. I currently have 12 gb @1066 mhz. I bought the computer with 4 1gb cards. Then added 2 4gb cards also at 1066mhz They are all generic Nanyas. The current 12gb of RAM are working fine, but I was planning on installing Virtual Machines ware. Hyper V and Virtual Box. Both require me to allocate system RAM and I don't want to have a sluggish response when I am multi-tasking. Will these Corsair Value Select 8gb cards for a total of 24gb work with my processor: Intel i7 @ 2.67ghz with bloomfield controls. Even if I don't get the dreaded beep beep on boot will Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit even recognize the additional RAM?

Thanks for any input

Most self-respecting memory vendors have tools to tell you what memory is compatible with your desltop/laptop/printer/gadget. According to the spec, 435mt supports "up to 24gb ram", but having in mind there are six memory sockets, I would rather suppose this is achieved by 6x4gb, not by 3x8gb.
