The EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 has an increase in Base Clock "1190MHz " Boost Clock "1342MHz " and
124GT/s Texture Fill Rate compare to the GTX 970 Superclocked Base Clock "1140MHz" Boost Clock "1279MHz " and
118GT/s Texture Fill Rate. In a nut shell, the SSC is slighter faster.

I think they're the same with the SSC just having a slightly higher binned GPU, you probably will be able to achieve SSC clock speeds with the SC unless you get a really bad chip, just the SSC is guaranteed to work at the advertised speeds out of the box.
