I Have a 450W Antec VP PSU, and my Watt Meter Says I Am Drawing 950W

As the title says, I am supposedly drawing way more power than my PSU can handle at full load. My system consists of an AMD A6-3670k overclocked to 3.8Ghz @ 1.5v, an XFX HD 6870, 2 2.5" 7200 RPM drives, and several fans. Can someone enlighten me as to what is going on? (I know that it runs at 80% efficiency, but even accounting for that, it would still be drawing ~750W)

Yeah the is no way that you could be pulling that much power through that PSU. Why were you measuring the wattage to begin with, is there a problem or were you just curious?

Thanks, that was what I was afraid of(but very much suspected). Time to get a new watt meter.

I was just curious as to what the difference between an OC'd and non OC'd CPU would be. But when it through up 950W, I was suspicious.
