Hi everyone, so i have an asus radeon r9 280x directcuII top v2, i was looking at buying the same card with out the 'v2'. my intentions are to crossfire the cards to get better performance on games for cheaper then a new card. so my question is - though they are the same primary model does the 'v2' stop me from being able to crossfire the cards safely?
regards ricky :)

Solution
The V2 probably means a slight faster version, so they would still probably crossfire, but the V2 would slow down to the speed of the regular one.

Update: It would seem that the only thing different about the V2 version is that it has a custom cooler, so you will be able to crossfire them.
