which motherboard is good for Intel Core i7-4790K??

Hello to all community members, before you suggest me powerful gaming Mobs I would like to let you know my purpose is not gaming it's for office use and here is the more details

I'd go with Z97 Extreme3, SLI support, good for OCing, fine price, and perfect for your (general) needs

Z97 mobos need BIOS update to support the devils canyon (haswell refresh) CPUs. For that supported CPU (any haswell CPU) should be installed and BIOS update should be done.

^They don't. Z87 *may* need it if the MoBo was manufactured before '14.

So, Z97 mobos made before 2014 needs update? How about MSI Z97 Gaming 3, does it needs update or can support 4790K right away.

Any Z97 MoBo will support Haswell-R, no matter how old it is, MSI G3 included. And Z87 also Supports Haswell-R, but may require an update if they were manufactured before '14. Z97 was launched in Q2'14 so they support all current Haswell (R included) CPUs.

Thanks MeteorsRaining, both are good and almost same but I had just noticed that none of them have Debug LED. Right now at home I am using ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 with core i5 3570k. I am living in area where dust is common issue so I need open and clean my CPU every 6 month so after cleaning that Debug LED helps me a lot many times when ever I stuck in problem I just see the code and find problem and troubleshoot it my self.

PS: I know Debug LED is very small thing many people didn't count it while choosing Mobo but it's quite important to me. :/

After more research and viewing many threads and videos it looks like ASRock Z97 Extreme4 is perfect for my needs but what current version of bios coming with this Mobo? If it's not 1.3 then how can I update without boot? Also there are some bad reviews that their Extreme 4 become dead after few weeks which scared me but on the other hand I am using Z77 Extreme4 from last 2 year without any issues. So I become very confused now :??:

should I go with Extreme4 or not?

Z97 EXTREME4 is a quality MoBo, and the BIOS will support the CPU, any Z97 does. Feel free to go for it, I have one in my build and it runs brilliant (with 4790k)

unfortunately ASRock Z97 Extreme4 and Extreme3 both are not available in India

I need to chose Gigabyte Z97 D3H but it's also good so ordered this
