Hi everyone, I have AMD FX 6300 with XFX HD 7770 Core Edition, 4GB ram and Western Digital Caviar Green 1TB HDD ( WD10EARS ) to be Precise.

I was playing BF4 on 1600x900 on Medium Settings and I was having a massive FPS Drops, 80% of the times when I was playing BF4, The FPS went from 60-70 FPS down to 1-15 ...

Is this happening because of my Low Ram Memory or because I'm running OS and the Game both on a Caviar Green Drive ?

Not the hard drive.

It does sound like a memory issue, though it may be a VIDEO memory issue not system.

When you run out of video memory you tend to start swapping back to the main drive (same issue Watch Dogs has) but if you run out of System memory you are more likely to crash.

Difficult to say though as I've seen people with the same card (HD7770 with 1GB VRAM) say they have reasonable smoothness, but also people with 4GB report the same thing.

I would suggest getting another 4GB regardless. Preferably an identical stick (or sticks) if possible. PCpartpicker may help.

Well I don't have Enough money for a 4 Gig Stick right now but I can buy 2GB so Should I get 2GB Stick or wait for 4GB ?
