Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: this week (the closer the better)

Budget Range: $1000 - $1500

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, gaming and super gaming. possibly streaming.

Are you buying a monitor: Yes build must include Asus VG248QE 24.0 unless better suggestions arise.

Parts to Upgrade: Motherboard, ram, cpu, cooler(I have an Corsai H50), Monitor, SSD, GPU.

What I don't need: Case, PSU (Roswell hive 750), Fans, not going to OC so my H50 should be ok(Unless suggested otherwise) i do want the H100i tho.

Do you need to buy OS: No

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any and all that will give me the cheapest price including amazon warehouse or open box items.

Location: West palm beach, Florida

Parts Preferences: Want intel CPU(Currently running FX 6100) and i don't care about the GPU as long as its good.

Overclocking: No but wouldn't mind having the ability to but i will probably not.

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: Want to have 1920x1080. no need for 4k

Additional Comments: doesn't need to be fancy or match, my case does not have a window, i have the case because of the decent airflow and don't really need change it, no need for anything flashy, i want performance, I don't care if my computer looks like the Ron Jeremy of gaming PCs.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: My system is done, either my ram or my GPU is done for, i have been getting artifacts and now i cannot boot up my pc in normal mode, must use Safe mode as if the AMD driver is loaded, i get blue neon lines and black screen.

I have chosen a non-K processor (which you cannot overclock) with a Z97 motherboard which is meant for overclocking and doing an SLI. If you don't wanna overclock, just get the H97 motherboard else get the K variant of the processor (either i5 or i7)

nice, thank you. I see you are putting more towards the CPU. Why 6 core though, future proofing?

i don't see the point of 6-cores in gaming at all.

Yup that processor would last really long. And DDR4 memory because by next year DDR4 will dominate over DDR3. And you'll get the support of new programs for DDR4. So you won't lag behind. And 970 is a beast.
