first option, you dont really need 8 cores ,, AMD FX-6300 AMD R9 280X will be a good gamer :)
  2. Wow. Good question.

I do know that your FPS will not be affected if you had the 6300 or the 8320, as hard to believe as that sounds. So it would depend on which GPU performs better. In which case, the 280x wins, by a good margin.

  3. FX-6300, but you'll need to overclock it to avoid bottlenecking your GPU in certain games.

If you overclock the CPU, don't use the stock cooler.

I don't plan to get a cooler immidiately after I buy the components(maybe after 2 months), will there be any major bottleneck?
  5. no "bottleneck" issues they will perform well together .. :)
  6. but deffo get a cooler something like the 212 evo,, that cpu is crying out to be oc'd,, i have it and its real easy to overclock
  7. On new AAA games you should not get much of a bottleneck because they can utilize many cores like on the consoles.

But for older games that use old engines, and games that require considerable CPU power, you may get unexpectedly low framerates with the FX.

Editing/productivity software are not affected. They use as many cores as they can get.
