Hey everyone! I know there is bunch of threads like this one but i tried a lot of stuff and i finally decided to take some actions but i wanted to ask someone that knows more than me before doing anything. So here is how my laptop looks like : Intel Core i3-2348M CPU @ 2.30 GHZ
8 GB Ram, 64 Bit OS
Nvidia GeForce 635M 2 GB
I dont play some heavy games, in fact i am playing only League of Legends and World of Warcraft WOTLK and i am playing both of them on Very Low settings because i dont care about quality i care about performance! Lets take LoL for example. At first the game starts at 250 fps, when the minions spawn and heroes show it goes down to 150-180 fps and its really good but after 5-10 mins in game when heroes start using some skills the dps goes down to 40-50 for like 1-2 sec and than goes back to 150. Its really annoying when i play heroes that need more movement and when that happens i am fucked up. I red a lot so my guesses are two : The problems is either in my PCU because its not that good and my second guess is that my laptop overheat. I would go with the second one because if i play more than 1 game and listening to music in the background from youtube the fps drops start happening more often (like every 3-4 seconds) I bough the laptop from a friend and its like new but i think there could be some dust in it. So whats your opinion guys?

I dont see any dust and even when i blow in it nothing comes out and when the fps drops start happening when i touch the bottom of my laptop it doesnt seem to be really hot its more like warm

Check the CPU & GPU temperature.. (CoreTemp or RealTemp).. It temp is higher, probably cause slowing down.
Check memory usage, Task Manager> Performance.

Change resolution preset - the higher the preset the lower your fps, V-sync off.

Go to Nvidia Control Panel> Manage 3D> add the game in the list... In global> there is drop down list, choose Nvidia processor.

Yes its on Nvidia. So i tried to put a book under my laptop because i saw a suggestion from a member of the website and it actually worked. I played on highest graphics with music and etc and my fps didnt drop under 100 but my temp while playing was still like 85. Is it normal? Should i send my laptop to get cleaned ?

It high actually, for cpu that doesn't overclocked 85C is too high.. keep the bottom of your laptop well ventilated and inspect the fans are not blocked (dust), if temp doesn't go down then send it to get cleaned.

Okay thank you a lot. Just let me ask you one more thing cuz i did this too so i am not sure if this didnt change anything. So i saw this as a suggestion too and i did it. I downloaded GPU-Z and i checked the bus interface and it was PCI 2.0 x 16. There was an option to make a test and when i did the test it switched to PCI 1.1 x 16. Is it possible that this made any changes ?

You are welcome. Hope everything will work well.

It is kind of power saving I believe. It should be normal, it's down clocked when the system is idle. It will go back up when your gaming or in loaded.

Is that normal?
