OK so i bought this cable " Cat6 Ethernet Cable Quality RJ45" and it's just not working, the wire is not faulty, i read online a lot of people are talking about motherboard drivers and stuff but i can't get this working.. my motherboard is Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P.

If anybody could help i would massively appreciate it, when i plug the cable in nothing happens literally.

Your description of the cable is not helpful if you were trying to point to EXACTLY which cable you purchased. The first, and most obvious thing, is to try a different cable. Cat6 is NOT required for home use. Cat5 or Cat5e are perfectly acceptable.
You say "the wire is not faulty" ... how do you know that?
Have you examined the RJ45 port on the motherboard? Are the wire "fingers" all (8) there? What do the LEDs on the router/switch say ? Link? Port Speed? Activity? -- Same with the motherboard.
