Greetings!

This is yet another ram thread, and my debut post.
My question is in regards of my 4 ram modules (2x 4GB and 2x 4GB).

Both 8gb kits have the same brand (Kingston HyoerX), same voltage @1.5v, and speed @1600.
The difference is on the latency, one kit is CL9 and other is CL10.

I believe and learned that RAM sticks should run at same voltage, speeds, and latency to avoid, or reduce instability. Regardless of the similarities of the sticks, i mannually overried the auto setting on bios to the desired voltage and speed but in a little confusion with the difference, the latency.

In BIOS, should i set the modules to run at the higher ram latency (10-10-10-30)? Or should it be set to the lower/faster latency (9-9-9-27)?

I aim for stability more than performance.

Thank you all and best regards,

Solution
The faster can run slower, but the one "made" to run slower will not run faster. Try setting the faster product to slow. Also, there WILL NOT be any unstability as far as the voltage is same.

Ahhhh excellent! So my only choice here is to set timings to 10-10-10-30. Thank you.....learning something everyday.
