Greetings!
This is yet another ram thread, and my debut post.
My question is in regards of my 4 ram modules (2x 4GB and 2x 4GB).
Both 8gb kits have the same brand (Kingston HyoerX), same voltage @1.5v, and speed @1600.
The difference is on the latency, one kit is CL9 and other is CL10.
I believe and learned that RAM sticks should run at same voltage, speeds, and latency to avoid, or reduce instability. Regardless of the similarities of the sticks, i mannually overried the auto setting on bios to the desired voltage and speed but in a little confusion with the difference, the latency.
In BIOS, should i set the modules to run at the higher ram latency (10-10-10-30)? Or should it be set to the lower/faster latency (9-9-9-27)?
I aim for stability more than performance.
Thank you all and best regards,
