i am looking for a psu for gaming machine.
Gpu:gigabyte gtx 770
Case:bitfenix prodigy
Cpu: i5 4460
Ssd: samsung evo 240gb ssd
Ram: 8 gb single Module kingston hyperx
Optical drive: samsung optical drive

I was thinking about getting the Thermaltake LitePower W0356R 700Watt PSU. Preferably stocked by msy.

Solution
The PSU you wish are not modular and uncertified 80+ one. Like the @MeteorsRaining said it low quality PSU moreover it not suits your purpose for gaming machine.
PSU Requirements 575W minimum.
PSU Tier List I recommened you choose one from Tier 1 list.
Also check it with modular and certified 80+ one to make sure highest quality & most stable PSU.

Ok,so what would you suggest. The gtx 770 needs 600w minimum but I dont want to upgrade PSU everytime I upgrade other components. So maybe 750w+. I am not very informed as to picking PSU's so your guys help is greatly appreciateded.

It all up to you for what you plan from now. I saw you use non-K Intel CPU so you will not overclock it and if you also not plan to do SLI so still it safe & recommended minimum wattage at 575W PSU. Just check the PSU you want to buy had modular cable and 80+ certified one. If it up to me, I will get Seasonic from the PSU Tier 1 List link that given before.
