I'm going to replace my old GTX 560 and my Gigabyte motherboard for:
GTX 980 by MSI
AsRock z77 Exterme6
My question is: What kind of problems my occur?
I don't know if the power source is good enough or if the case is big enough or if all my other components will fit. Please help.

Solution
Which MSI card will you be using exactly?

I just checked both and they will both fit, but if you grab the gaming version be ready to use the included 8 pin power connector to help you power the card.

I there a way of checking on your computer? I know only processor, RAM and graphics card models. How to check motherboard model or power supply model?

For power supply model check inside your case and see what it says on the label. For motherboard use CPU-Z and go to the third tab on the top where it says Mainboard, read to us what it says there.

Download from here:

First Step: Go to the MSI website and check the power requirements for the GTX 980
Second Step: Tell us what case you are using

Your power supply should be able to handle the upgrades. Although, it would be helpful to know your case to make sure the parts will fit. On a side note, make sure you grab the reference PCB (2 6-pin power connectors) as all the other editions most likely require more PCIE power connectors than are available.
