How you know if it is overclockable?

On AMD - AxxXXXXK are unlocked and can be easily overclocked AxxXXXX(non K) are locked but can still be overclocked quite a bit through FSB. Same goes for Athlon IIs based on A series

- FX series are all unlocked and can be overlocked easily
-Older Athlon IIs are locked but an be OCd thr FSB the same as locked older Phenom IIs. Phenom IIs BLACK EDITION are unlocked and can be OCd easy thr multiplier

Intel
-All celeron, pentium, i3 are locked and cannot be overclocked no matter what except G3258
-Pentium G3258 is unlocked and can be OCd similar to any unlocked intel CPU though non-Z boards can be used unlike i5/i7
-I5XXXX(non-k) can;t be overlocked no matter what; i5 XXXX(K) are unlocked and easy to OC
-I7 most are unlocked an...
