Is it Worth Me Upgrading to a 970?

The 970 would give you a pretty decent fps boost over 280X. Going for it won't be a bad choice. Saving up for won't be a bad idea either 980. So either way it's fine. Get 970 if you start playing games higher frame rates fast or save up for 980's. But if games on your PC is running fine then you don't need to upgrade it.

Why upgrade when nothing is wrong? You are just spending money for the sake of something shiny and new.
