Hi, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. We apologize for the oversight, part number KVR13N9S8/4 is compatible with AsRock 960GM-VGS3 FX motherboard. Others that have stated it would not work had older chipsets that did not support 8GB modules. Your motherboard does support 8GB modules which use 4Gbit DRAM components, same as the single rank KVR13N9S8/4 but half as many to make the 4GB capacity. For any further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you.
