Z87 Mobo and UEFI BIOS. 2x SSD's in RAID 0 on SATA 1 & 3 with my OS as boot drive. 2x Storage HDD's on SATA 5 & 6. SATA 1 - 4 set to RAID and 5 - 6 set to IDE. Been running fine for over a year. Booted up today went right to BIOS and RAID 0 SSD's arent showing up anymore. Changed ports 1 - 4 to AHCI, saved and rebooted and both SSD's now show up. So they aren't dead. Don't know why they no longer will show up in RAID and will not boot... Please help.

Solution
When sata ports are in raid mode they (the drives) wont show up in the normal bios, you would need to go to the raid bios (CTRL+i) to see them.
Be sure the system is still set to boot the raid first after you change ports 1-4 back to raid mode.
