Hello, I was planning on purchasing a second Gigabyte GTX 760 Windforce for my build but I needed to know if my power supply (Thermaltake TR2 700w) would be able to handle it?

System Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6300 (OC'ed to 4.2Ghz)
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 760 Windforce (i havent bought the second card yet)
RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA UD3
HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB
PSU: Thermaltake TR2 700w

I don't really know how good this PSU is I just needed to know if all of this would be too much for the 700w PSU.

Solution

Yes it is, yours is the model with the 5 year warranty but no certification, interesting - yeah, I could find nothing in the way of legitimate reviews for it, so it may be best to keep that as a back up PSU, the EVGA SuperNova should be ideal I would think

In theory, yes, it can but with the TR2 models you can't really be sure (two different manufacturers, ChannelWell and Fortron Source made TR2 700W). The Fortron (FSP) model receives a Golden Award from http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Thermaltake-TR2-700-W-Power-Supply-Review/1422/11 HardwareSecrets so I wouldn't expect problems from that particular model - the other version has a longer warranty but I found no reviews for it

I believe that article is about a ThermalTake TR2 700w Bronze but my PSU is a normal 700w. I believe it does not have an 80 Plus Certification but im not completely certain.

I dont normally like to use Newegg owner reviews but this time it coincides with where it's placed on the chart.
