Hey guys so I'm in a dilemma now on building my first PC, the main usage of this PC is gaming and some light office working and light video editing.
So I have 3 options here.

The 1st : http://s7.postimg.org/a6z2yluy3/Plan_1.png
The first, all the components are included and IMO balanced but lack of CPU cooler.

The 2nd : http://s7.postimg.org/cctdt3yej/Plan_2.png
The second build, I'm going to push more money into the motherboard and get an aftermarket heatsink fan and a nice 650D case, but stashed off the graphics card. (Is this build futureproof? I'm going to add a graphics card in 5-6 months maybe.)

The 3rd : http://s7.postimg.org/hcqu12417/Plan_3.png
The third build, I'm pushing more money on the GPU (Digital Alliance = Palit, Indonesian branding) but has a lower end motherboard.

So that's it guys. Which one do you think is the best and futureproof and has a nice upgrade path for the future? And do the i5 4690k integrated graphics card enough for some recent titles? Or do you guys have any thought on those build? Please feel free to tell me! :)

FYI : Processor, Power Supply, and Mechanical Hard Drive is already purchased.

For a motherboard. I would just look up good z97 boards which are not made by MSI. Have a look at this article (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/enthusiast-z97-motherboard-overclock,review-33019-27.html)
AsRock's are decent, gigabytes are also decent.

The 4690k is a good CPU but integrated graphics are only there to run basic stuff like low level media editing. For gaming unless you want to be running on the lowest settings, at 720p and only get 10 fps, go with a Graphics card.

The Hero mobo is exceptionally expensive and you won't need the stuff it offers.

you dont need to spend a ton on the motherboard. Most offer similar overclocking potential while the price different is based on aesthetics, branding and number of features (e.g...

I would go with Build 3.
It has a 970 which a seriously nice GPU. I would suggest saving your money on the RAM and getting the 'basic' vengeance instead of the Pro version, the real world performance difference will be minimal.

Hmm, but the price difference between the basic and the pro vengeance is no more that $10, should I get the basic vengeance?
But how about the future upgrade path for build 3?

Take build N1. The GTX 970 is based of Maxell which has lower floating point performance than Kepler - the older architecture on which the 760 is based. If you dont game that much or at all, it is a better choice. Also the 760 is made by MSI. Not a tier 1 manufacturer, but they have better build quality compared to Palit.

If the price difference is minimal then get the Pro version.

The rest of the build is fine. You could always add more Ram if you need it (you shouldn't) later.
One slight issue may be that the motherboard only supports crossfire and nor SLI. This means you can only have one Nvidia GPU functioning at a time and would not be able to buy a second one to link them together. However, the Gtx 970 is a good card and it should be perfectly sufficient for any game.

Yeah the main reason of building this PC is for gaming.
Btw I'm a bit afraid on purchasing a mobo from MSI since from what I read it has bad QC issues.
What about build 2? Nobody has mentioned it.
And about the performance of the integrated graphics at the 4690k?

The performance of the integrated graphics is ... rather horrible. As far as it goes to MSI, well I don't like them either. Had too many problems with them over the years. Apparently they gotten better, but I wont touch them again. Still better than Palit though.

Hmm, I want the all out from the 4690k that's why I'm gonna need the motherboard. And dedicated GPU isn't essential right? So I guess I can add it later. How is the overclocking of the Hero?
Maybe until I get a decent graphics card I'll be doing some kind of light gaming.
