Hello... I've been here too much recently.
My situation is this. I saved money up until now to make a good pc for myself and I have been researching many stuff to build a pc.
The thing is I found this pc in a pcshop:
AMD FX 8350
8GB G.Skill 1600mhz
MSI 970A-G43
1TB WD HDD
ATI HD 6970 2gb
700Watts Apevia Certified

Well, the thing is... I found that MSI boards have poor vrm chipset and that it sucks with that cpu, but I read in this same website from someone that the Gigabyte 970 UD3P supports the 8 core and is basically my best option for me. The PSU I don't know if is good enough, but it seems is kind of good (not good as corsair or other famous brands) but enough for this pc. Then I find that this PSU have 2 12v rails, so I don't know how to calculate the max usage of it.
The thing is, I want to know if I should fix in this pc build (apart from board).
Also, would a Omega 1000Va UPS work with this?
I don't plan to overclock anything, I'm a casual gamer, I don't want those fancy things but something with what I can play without trouble on most games (don't have to be max graphics/res/etc).
Also, the case it comes with I don't know if is good enough, I thought of buying a Thermaltake V3 or V4 and add fans everywhere is possible.
As for last, what CPU cooler should I buy? (I guess it comes with stock cooler)
What pros/cons have this PC and how compatible is HD 6970 with games? (sorry I'm ignorant with "gaming" related things somehow... "Unexperienced")

Just to be blunt AMD processors is not the way to go with gaming, the 6970 video card is still a good card, that power supply would make a good door stop and I would use it for nothing else. Unless you have very poor power a UPS is not needed.
You would probably be better off stating your budget and where you can buy parts from.

This is what I'd look for a mid-range gaming setup:

Forgot to add that, my max budget would be 660$. I can order from newegg and Amazon.com, since I live in caribbean islands I need to use a service here to order something from website then ordering it to a place in US so they send it here. (I would need to pay per pounds of package. 4.16$ per pound I believe)
I'm just a casual gamer and I found that pc for 380$ so I thought I should ask for advice beforehand.
There's other one with FX 4300 with R7 240 4GB for 370$ lol.

I was thinking of building a Pc with FX 6300 before but I saw this and wanted to ask for opinions. The thing is that UPS can protect my pc too, so I would like to add it in case.

Is a R9 290 4GB mid range ? for real? xD I'm on low-mid range then...

So you can take my build above with the FX 6300, if you like. You should have good gaming and for most other tasks should be fine. If you want to spend less on the GPU you can, but a R9 290 with even the FX 6300 is going to game quite well.

That was my max budget, add 4.16$ per pound of each product to the price of it >.<.
I'll use it as reference better, it helps me a lot :D. Thanks ^^.

I'll have everything ready for this friday hopefullly.
The build will be the next: (If I lived in the US I would have made a better pc xD)
AMD FX 6300 black edition
Gigabyte 970 UD3P
EVGA GTX 750 FTW ACX 1GB
Thermaltake V3
Dell LCD 17" Refurbished A
EVGA 500W Bronze Cert.
Seagate 320GB
G.Skill F3 Ripjaw 4GB (2x2gb) 1600mhz (Will add more later, for now I should stick to my budget xD)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo cooler
Samsung 24X DvD-rom
650Va UPS Omega

Is it ok as it is? (I know I should add more ram later, since is cheap)... I actually wanted buy the 2x4GB one, but well... life sucks sometimes and karma fucks us off with senseless situations xD.
I guess everything will work well right? no board issues or anything related.
